This lovely fly agaric mushroom was spotted by my friend Teece Fleming when she was on an autumn walk in woodlands. She kindly let me share the photo she took.
I must admit I'm jealous! I went on a woodland walk myself at the weekend, hoping to spot interesting mushrooms to photograph, but didn't see any. Fly agaric is probably the most witchy of mushrooms, although it is poisonous and if you see it you should leave it where it is. Just photograph it, like this.
My Pagan Eye posts show photos that I find interesting - seasonal images, pagan sites, events, or just pretty pictures. If you want to send me a photo for a Pagan Eye post, please email it to badwitch1234@gmail.com Let me know what the photo shows and whether you want your name mentioned or not. For copyright reasons, the photo must be one you have taken yourself.
The photograh is copyright Teece Fleming
