London Lore at Bishopsgate Institute

If you are interested in London's legends and customs then you might enjoy a conference on London lore being run by the Folklore Society and the South East London Folklore Society on Saturday April 25.

Talks during the day will cover such things as magical talisman collections, seasonal customs, urban witchcraft and contemporary mysteries. Speakers will include Doc Rowe, Sonia Ritter, Dr Eva Griffit, Antony Clayton, John Callow, John Constable, Mark Pilkington, Sarah Crofts, Paul Cowdell, and Richard Barnett.
