A full moon for prophecy

Tomorrow evening, November 2, there is a full moon. For witches, the full moon is always good a time for divination, but the full moon closest to Samhain - or Halloween - is especially potent because the veil between the worlds is thin.

If you have a question you want answered, go outside when the night sky is clear and spend a little time quietly contemplating the moon. Take several deep, slow breaths and let your mind and body relax, then ask the moon your question. You don't have to say it out loud unless you want to - framing the question silently in your mind while you look at the moon is sufficient.

Spend a few moments longer sitting quietly and looking at the moon. It is possible that some insight will come to you immediately, but not necessarily. Sometimes the moon speaks to us in our dreams, so keep a notebook and pen by your bed in case you wake up and realise that something important has been revealed to you while you sleep.

It is also quite possible that you will find the answer to your question in a seemingly mundane way over the next few days, or even weeks. You might think that it is just coincidence that you asked the moon for her help - and maybe that is so. But maybe not...
