Normally, I post to my blog every morning during the week. And for today, I had something very special to write about because last night I did a fire walk! Except, of course, I didn't write about it this morning after all.
I have been wanting to do a fire walk for ages. It was on my list of New Year resolutions last year, but I didn't manage to do one. This year, I was determined to give it a go. A couple of weeks ago discovered that The Fawcett Society was organising a sponsored fire walk to raise money to help the charity in its goals of promoting equality between men and women. It sounded like a good cause so I signed up.
The reason I hadn't mentioned it on my blog before the walk is that I was just a little worried I might have cold feet before reaching the hot coals.
But I managed to overcome my fears and do the walk. Afterwards, I celebrated late into the night with friends. This morning, I woke up with a migraine that was so bad I couldn't face using a computer. No, it wasn't a hangover, honest ;)
I'm feeling a little better now and so I've written this brief post. I'll write about it in full tomorrow, and post a few pictures.
