South African Mob Strangle 'Witch's' Dog
A dog was nearly killed by a crowd in Randburg, South Africa, because it was thought to belong to a “witch”. The dog was rescued and has since recovered. Archaeologists Discover Temple to Demeter in Sicily
Archaeologists in Italy have discovered what may be among the oldest remains at Selinunte, an ancient Greek archaeological site on the south coast of Sicily, southern Italy. A bone flute and vase fragments dating to 570 BC may indicate that a temple to the Goddess Demeter was originally at the site.
