Witches, Druids and Pagans in the News

Pagans including druids and wiccans could get time off work to celebrate solstices and equinoxes at Stonehenge or other sacred sites, according to new guidance by The Equality and Human Rights Commission. You can read more on the website of This is Somerset.

The Courier is running a story called Mystery over Forfar witch trials still brewing, about historic witchcraft accusations.

Following the death of Margaret Thatcher, the Metro reported that Ding Dong! The Witch Is Dead bound for Top 10 download chart. There is more about that story on The Independent website. Meanwhile, the same article stated that on TV: "News bulletins providing blanket coverage of the death failed to record a viewing rise." I posted my own comment on the topic yesterday.

My name is Jennifer Wright and I run PaganPagesOrg Emagazine (http://www.paganpages.org). We are a free monthly, non profit, epublication on Witchcraft, Magick, Paganism in all it's forms.
I came across your blog and was wondering, if you would like, or had the time, if you would like a column in our publication. We have been out for over 6 years now. If you go into our archives section you will see, on the bottom of our page, issues going back around 6 years. We have interviewed and reviewed many well known Pagans.

If this is something that interests you, please let me know.

Much Love,
Jenn

Hi Jennifer, Thanks very much for thinking of me. Although I'd love to write a column for you, I'm afraid at the moment I've got so much freelance writing and copy-editing work that I just don't have time to take on any voluntary work. I hardly find time to write my own blog these days!
