Children of Artemis has announced that Witchfest International 2016 will be the Brighton Centre in Brighton, East Sussex.
Witchfest is normally at Fairfield Halls, in Croydon, Surrey, but CoA has moved the witchcraft conference to a new venue because of uncertainty about the future of Fairfield Halls. The halls badly need renovation and are likely to be at least partly closed for many months while this takes place.
A CoA spokesperson said the new venue in Brighton had been booked because: "We just could not wait any longer. We continue to support the Fairfield."
They added: "You will love Brighton Centre, it is a lovely big venue with plenty to offer you all and they are ever so excited to have us there."
The date for Witchfest 2016 as been set for November 26. Tickets are not yet on sale and CoA is still arranging for cheap hotel accommodation to be available for those who need it.
