Yule Pagan Events in London and Elsewhere

Here is a list of pagan events over the Winter Solstice and Yule. Most of the events listed are in London, but some are in and other parts of the UK - including rituals at the stone circles of Stonehenge, Avebury and the Rollrights.

Now - 30 December; Exhibition - The Art of Concentration, by Flora Duley: An exhibition inspired by thoughts and practice of exercises found in 'Knowledge of the Higher Worlds' by Rudolf Steiner and the 'New Yoga Will' by Heinz Grill. Wednesday, 14 December; Woodland Witches and Outdoor Pagans -  Invoking the Tamesa Serpent for the Protection of Water. Saturday 17 December; Yule Ceremony at the Rollright Stones. Public ceremony with Watchers of the Old Ways to celebrate Yule. Venue: Rollright Stones, Little Rollright, Warwickshire, OX7 5. Time: 2pm-3.15pm. No entry fee but donations towards the upkeep of the stones welcome.

Sunday 18 December, Wicca Moons Winter Witches' Tea Party. A social afternoon of readings and festive shopping.  Venue: Wicca Moon, 50 Well Hall Rd, London, SE9 6SH. Time: noon-4pm. Sunday 18 December; Alban Arthuan on Primrose Hill under the Aegis of the Loose Association of Druids. Gather in the Hawthorne Grove at Primrose Hill, London, between 12.30pm and 12.45pm to prepare the site ready for a prompt 1pm start. Nearest tube: Chalk Farm. Sunday 18 December; A Blot For Holda. A gathering of Heathen, Druid and Wiccan groups from around London in Greenwich Park for a free public ceremony to honour the Goddess Holda at her sacred site in the park. Meeting from 1pm for 2pm start. Bring masks and drums if you have them. Children, animals and late-comers welcome. Picnic afterwards, weather permitting!

Wednesday 21 December; Wheel of the Year Festival - Winter Solstice Meditation at Chalice Well World Peace Garden, in Glastonbury.
