This Saturday I will be at the Belostra pagan festival in south east London. I will be helping my friend Maria run her stall, Liminal Threads, in the market area. Do pop in and have a chat if you are there.
I will also have with me a few copies of the community book I edited, Every Day Magic – A Pagan Book of Days, and also Pagan Portals – Candle Magic, but that’s not my real reason for going to the festival. I’ll be there because it is a great festival, close to where I live, and I’m really happy to be helping out.
Belostra 2018 is hosted by Pagan FutureFests and is at the gorgeous Stanley Halls, South Norwood Hill, SE25 6AB. It starts at noon and runs until 10pm. Tickets are £15 all day ,£9 evening only and under-16s get in for free if they are with an adult.
The ticket price includes access to all the entertainment, talks, workshops and market. There will be a bar selling mead as well as other drinks. In an adjacent part of the halls there is an excellent independent cafe selling tea, coffee, cakes, sandwiches and some hot food.
Belostra is a lovely, friendly pagan festival. It is easy to get to as several buses stop outside and it is close to Norwood Junction railway station. Come along and enjoy the fun.
