I took this photo of folklorist Ben Stimpson talking with Christina of Treadwell's at the shop's launch event for Welsh Folk Magic last night. This was just before Ben gave a fascinating talk about the magical arts of the dyn hysbys – the Welsh cunning folk, which is what his book is about. Afterwards I enjoyed a glass of wine at the soiree and a chance to chat with pagan friends.
I'm looking forward to reading my signed copy of Welsh Folk Magic. If you missed the event, you can still buy the book at Treadwell's, 33 Store St, London WC1E 7BS, or order online: https://www.treadwells-london.com/
My Pagan Eye posts show photos that I find interesting - seasonal images, pagan sites, events, or just pretty pictures. If you want to send me a photo for a Pagan Eye post, please email it to badwitch1234@gmail.com Let me know what the photo shows and whether you want your name mentioned or not. For copyright reasons, the photo must be one you have taken yourself.
