Legends of The Holy Grail have always fascinated me, so I couldn't miss out on a chance to hear a talk on the subject. Last night Ed Joyce, who has published a book called The Key to Camelot, was talking about famous cup at Secret Chiefs, London's longest-running pagan forum.
Ed argued that the Grail that collected the blood of Christ at his crucifixion and the Grail of King Arthur are two different items. He offered evidence that King Arthur and golden Grail of the Arthurian tales date from the pre-Roman period. If so, the Grail may have been buried with the historical war chief behind the legends, and may have been discovered by archaeologists and be sitting safely in the British Museum.
I picked up a copy of The Key to Camelot at Secret Chiefs and am very much looking forward to reading it. When I have done so, I will review it on A Bad Witch's Blog.
More information is available on Ed's website http://www.edjoyce.com/ and you can also buy copies of his book for just £4.99 plus postage and packing through the site.
