Autumn foxes

Someone left a comment on my blog the other day asking if I still see foxes in my garden. The answer is yes, my family of foxes are still using the den in the leaf pile by my back fence.

This picture shows one of them returning to it just a couple of evenings ago. Earlier, I had seen two large foxes playing in my garden, but I only got my camera ready in time to photograph the last one disappearing.

I think the leaf pile must make a very sheltered and warm home for them. Seeing as we had snow in London only a couple of days ago, and the weather has turned very cold, I expect they will be using their den a lot.
