Back to Magic School: Tarot

Treadwell's bookshop, in London's Covent Garden, is a great environment to learn the magical arts. This autumn it is running two eight-week courses called Learning the Tarot; Foundation Level.

The classes run on Monday or Wednesday nights, costing £140 for eight lessons.

Tarot tutors Diana Taylor and Sue Merlyn Farebrother will be teaching students how to read and work with the tarot card tradition in a course which starts from the basics. There will be homework and handouts, and by the end of the course students should be able to provide basic readings for others as well as be comfortable using the tarot as a springboard for meditation.

Classes will be based around the Colman-Rider-Waite imagery, but students should bring a deck they want to work with. Register for either the Monday class or the Wednesday class by calling Treadwell's on 0207 240 8906. Places are limited.

The Monday night class is with Diana Taylor and starts on October 5. The Wednesday night Class is with Sue Merlyn Farebrother and starts on October 14.

The shop is at 34 Tavistock St., Covent Garden, London. For more details visit http://www.treadwells-london.com/
