CoA offers 50k witch job

Pagan organisation Children of Artemis is looking for a witch to represent witchcraft and Wicca to the press and the public. This full-time job comes with a salary of £50k pa pro-rata. CoA's staff have so far been volunteers, but the organisation has decided it needs a salaried representative.

The deadline for applications is October 31 - Samhain. After that, three candidates will be selected and interviewed on stage at Witchfest International on November 7. The successful witch will be chosen by the audience.

The job is likely to entail appearing on TV, talking on stage at CoA events, doing interviews for newspapers and radio, writing for CoA's Witchcraft and Wicca magazine, promoting witchcraft on internet forums and being photographed for publicity shots.

This is not currently a full-time position, and at the moment only a few day's work in 2010 have been scheduled, but the workload is likely to increase.

To apply, send a email to coacentral@witchcraft.org, including your name, address, telephone number, your CV, an original unpublished article on any witchcraft-related subject and a high definition photo of yourself suitable for publication. You must also give permission for your article and photograph to be published.
