When I visited Middle Farm a little while ago - and took the photo of lambs in a barn - I was hoping to see cute little day-old chicks, the kind that look like yellow bundles of fluff, that I could photograph for an Easter Pagan Eye.
Unfortunately, not only did I fail to find any cute little chicks, I was chased out of the barn by this large and angry-looking black adult bird. I must confess my ignorance in not knowing if it is a cock or a hen - and if I'd got close enough to check I suspect it would have pecked my eye out.
But it made quite a dramatic photo, so I thought I'd post the picture for my Easter Pagan Eye anyway.
My Pagan Eye posts show photos that I find interesting, including seasonal images, pagan sites, events, or just pretty pictures. I am happy to include photos I am sent.
If you want to send me a photo for a Pagan Eye post, please email it to badwitch1234@gmail.com Let me know what the photo shows and whether you want your name mentioned or not. Absolutely brilliant photo! Just aching for some photoshop fun - or a caption...
Thanks! And if anyone can think of a caption, then that would be great!
I think this is a Hen bird..she looks pretty fed up. I have a Stroppy Hen who will peck your hand of if you get too close.
Thanks for clarifying the bird was a hen - a bad tempered hen too!
