The episode is called Talking to the Dead and the description in the Radio Times says:
"Two couples vanish in the tiny village of Monks Barton... There are rumours of witchcraft and haunted woods. Then flamboyant psychic Cyrus LeVanu clashes with Rev Wallace Stone as a body is found..."
Midsomer detective DCI Tom Barnaby has tackled cases involving witches, psychics, ghosts and the paranormal in the past, and sometimes the plots are very entertaining - but sometimes they are very silly.
I'll be watching this Talking to the Dead with interest, but I'm always a little nervous when TV dramas involve witches as they can simply bolster popular prejudices about paganism.
Midsomer Murders is on ITV on Wednesday 5 May at 8pm. If you miss the episode - or decide you like it so much you want to own it - the Midsomer Murders - Talking To The Dead DVD
is out in June and can be pre-ordered through Amazon.
