Win Grimoires and Witchcraft: VSI

Fancy winning a copy of Grimoires: A History of Magic Books and Witchcraft: A Very Short Introduction?

If so, then please enter the very first competition I’ve run on A Bad Witch’s Blog.

Oxford University Press has kindly offered a copy of each of these great books as a prize and all you need to do to enter is answer this multi-choice question:

What is a grimoire?

A) A recipe book?
B) A map book?
C) A magic book?
Email your answer to Gabrielle Fletcher, OUP publicity administrator, at gabby.fletcher@oup.com by the closing date of October 31, 2010, to be in with a chance of winning. There is one prize, which is a copy of each of the books in paperback.

I know several great books about a young magician.

Magician of Oz, Shadow Demon of Oz and the soon-to-be-released Family of Oz.

I hear the author is a fine magician in his own right.
