Here is a yellow rose, photographed in my garden after a rain shower. It is the third in my series of pictures of roses on my Pagan Eye posts.All roses symbolise love, but according to Margaret Pickston in her book Language of Flowers,
the yellow rose represents "decrease of love. Jealousy." Perhaps not a good colour to pick if you are buying your partner a big bunch of roses to make up after a row.This particular bloom, slightly over-blown and covered in rain drops, seems an apt flower for fading love.
On each Pagan Eye post, I show a photo that I find interesting, with a few words about it. I'm not quite sure what I'll be including - it could be a seasonal image, a pagan site, an event, or just a pretty picture.
