Pagan weddings - often called handfastings - are to get full legal status in Ireland under proposed new legislation. The same legislation will give non-religious wedding ceremonies the same legal status.

Wow, talk about "old world". In the US we have had this for quite a while now. Of course, we have figured out who can do the marrying and still are puzzled as to who can get married...
