TV: A Very English Winter With the Unthanks

For those who are interested in folklore, there's a programme on BBC 4 at 8pm tonight (Sunday) that could be good about English winter folk customs.

It is called A Very English Winter and it involves musicians Rachel and Becky Unthank travelling around England looking at hidden customs, dance traditions and winter pastimes such as the Lewes Guy Fawkes Night and traditional carol singing.

The documentary is a follow-up to Still Folk Dancing After All These Years, which looked at English summer folk dances.
