Competition: Details of the Five Books Offered as Prizes

If you read my blog regularly you will know I'm currently running a competition to win five wellbeing and spirituality books. They have been offered as a prize by publisher Hay House, which is also organising I Can Do It Ignite!, an event in London from 8th – 9th March. Talks at Ignite! will include how to unlock your inner creativity, how to improve your finances and even how to bring miracles into your everyday life.

The five books offered as the prizes in the competition I'm running on my blog are all by Ignite! speakers - and the details of how to enter are at the bottom of this post. Here are a few more details about each of the books:

May Cause Miracles
By Gabrielle Bernstein

In May Cause Miracles, Gabrielle Bernstein shows that miracles can be made to manifest in your personal life. She calls this positive lifestyle "The Lovetarian Way".

Like the vegetarian who adopts a way of eating and living that avoids foods that involve cruelty to animals, the Lovetarian embraces the ingredients of leading a centred, spiritual life via the teachings of this course in miracles.Gabrielle offers a six-week plan to cleanse our spiritual systems by ditching fear and living off the foods of gratitude, forgiveness, and love. This, she says, will lead to lives of abundance, acceptance, appreciation and enlightenment.

Does it work? I don't know as I haven't tried it - but I'd be willing to give it a go.

Loveability
By Robert Holden

Loveability is a meditation on love. It puts forward the concept that all the happiness, health and abundance you experience in life comes from your ability to love and be loved. This ability is innate, not acquired.

Robert Holden is the creator of a programme on love called Loveability, which he teaches worldwide. His three-day public programme offers a mix of timeless principles and helpful practices about the nature of true love. With this, he helps people who might have had less-than-happy experiences of relationships learn how to flourish in them. Loveability puts this in book form.

I'm a big fan of happy relationships, so anything that promotes them wins my approval.

F**k It
By John C. Parkin

F**k It is a classic book offering a personal development technique that many people say really works. The original book helped countless people to let go, stop struggling and do what they wanted; to ignore what everyone else was telling them and go their own way. The text has been updated with inspirational new material from John C. Parkin for a new edition.

John suggests that saying F**k It is the perfect Western expression of the Eastern spiritual ideas of letting go, giving up and finding real freedom by realising that things don't matter so much (if at all). It's a spiritual way that doesn't require chanting, meditating, wearing sandals or eating pulses. And it's the very power of this modern-day profanity that makes it perfect for shaking us Westerners out of the stress and anxiety that dominate our meaning-full lives.

Again, I haven't read the book but I've heard friends rave about it - and the title certainly appeals to me.

E-Squared
By Pam Grout

According to publisher Hay House, E-Squared, which has the subtitle Nine Do-It-Yourself Energy Experiments That Prove Your Thoughts Create Your Reality, is a lab manual with simple experiments to prove that there really is a good, loving force in the universe. The blurb suggests that rather than take it on faith, you are invited to conduct ten 48-hour experiments to prove each of the principles in the book. The experiments can be conducted with absolutely no money, very little time expenditure and aim to demonstrate the reality of some of your most deeply held spiritual beliefs.

Win the competition, and you can try them out for yourself without even paying for the book.

Angel Prayers
By Kyle Gray

Aimed at anyone who has ever prayed for a little angelic help but felt their prayers were going unanswered, Angel Prayers offers to turn this situation around for you. In this book, Kyle shows how to use affirmative prayer to focus on the positive outcome of a situation rather than praying to change something that is perceived as negative. It also covers the angelic hierarchy, including the 15 major archangels, and offers a collection of daily and evening prayers plus prayers for all of life's big events - from relationships and creating abundance to healing.

Although this book is probably aimed more at Christians than Pagans, I know I've asked the help of angels in the past - and sometimes I think they've listened.

How to Enter the Competition
To enter the competition, all you have to do is answer this question: Which of the following can you expect to learn at I Can Do It Ignite!?

A) How to decorate cupcakes
B) How to drive a bus
C) How to bring miracles into your everyday life

Please email your answer to badwitch1234@gmail.com The competition is open to anyone with a UK postal address, and don't forget to include that address on your email so Hay House will know where to send the books if you win. There is one prize, which is the five books stated above, and the winner will be picked at random from the correct entries. The closing date for the competition is Friday, 28 February, 2014, at midnight.
