After I posted photos of the Summer Solstice sunrise from Stonehenge taken by two of my friends, another friend, Rupert Hewison, sent me this lovely photo of the Winter Solstice sky taken in Australia a few moments ago.
What amazing times we live in - that we can have friends all over the globe and see pictures from across the world in an instant. If the solstice - summer or winter - isn't a time to make a wish for peace and harmony between all human beings on this Earth I don't know when is.
