City Lit, in London, is running a one-day course called Introduction to Shamanism on Saturday, 10 October.
Those attending will learn about the core principles of shamanism. The day will look at the shamanic journey for healing and inspiration, soul retrieval, the role of shamanism in the caring professions and how these ancient cross-cultural healing methods can be used to address the needs of our times.
The course offers a brief historical, anthropological overview of traditional and contemporary shamanism and explores how these healing methods can be used today. This course is facilitated by an experienced integrative counsellor and shamanic practitioner who teaches shamanic journeying and healing.
