Pagan Eye: Reflections of the Sky - Ardingly Reservoir

Yesterday I went for a walk around Ardingly Reservoir in West Sussex. It was perfect weather for the August Bank Holiday - sunny and warm. I took this photo of the sky reflected in the water and I think it captures the beauty of the reservoir, which is home to wildlife as well as supplying water to people south east England.

The weather was a complete change from last year's August Bank Holiday, when I went climbed up to the Uffington White Horse in rain and fog. Mind you, fog might have been apt for the theme of my walk yesterday, which was supposed to be spooky and came from the book Ghost Hunter Walks in Sussex. I will be posting some pictures of the allegedly haunted sites on A Bad Witch's Blog in future, but for now I would rather remember the sunshine, the water and the trees just starting to turn to their autumn hues.

My Pagan Eye posts show photos that I find interesting - seasonal images, pagan sites, events, or just pretty pictures.

If you want to send me a photo for a Pagan Eye post, please email it to badwitch1234@gmail.com Let me know what the photo shows and whether you want your name mentioned or not. For copyright reasons, the photo must be one you have taken yourself.
