Secret Reveal: What Was Inside the Amulet Jar?

Two days ago I shared a picture of the top of a wonderfully witchy amulet, with a little mystery about what was inside it. I'm now going to reveal the secret - the amulet jar, created by Matt Xai Malachi Porter, contained henbane, and here are some pictures of the contents too.

Matt specialises in growing poisonous plants and making amazing things with them. All the pictures were taken by Matt and you can find links to more of his photos at the bottom of this post, including freshly harvested mandrake roots, a mandrake becoming a poppet, monkshood, hemlock and henbane.
