It was really simple to make. All I did was tie bare twigs to the branch with bits of black wool and then hang it on my witchy room wall from picture hooks. Nevertheless I think it would give the feeling of bringing a haunted wood indoors, especially if you made lots of them and hanged them up all around the room.
Last week I blogged about making an autumn wreath from natural vines and berries and I'll be posting more about Halloween crafts over the next few weeks. There are more ideas for seasonal activities in my new book Pagan Portals - Rounding the Wheel of the Year, published by Moon Books. Copies can be bought from Treadwell's bookshop at 33 Store Street, Bloomsbury, London, or from online sellers such as Waterstones and Amazon.
On Tuesday 24th October I'm giving an online talk on October Magic and Folklore for the Thinning of the Veil via The College of Psychic Studies. It starts at 7pm and tickets are £16.
