Divination: The Deceit Fool from the Fool's Wisdom

For April Fool's Day I've drawn a card for the world from The Fool's Wisdom Oracle, and it is the Deceit Fool. You can see it on the right.

All the cards in the deck show a person in jester's attire, but this one shows them walking blindfolded. The message in the book that comes wth the set is that this is a warning to beware of fraudulent people. There are a lot of deceptive things going on around us right now, so don't be a fool yourself and don't be misled. Trust your intuition and if something doesn't feel right, question it. As the book says:
"Who or what is trying to give you a faulty impression of reality? Who or what is trying to trick you into believing something other than the truth?"
On April 1st we try to spot attempts to make us look like fools. Mostly, these are harmless jokes, but we still don't want to get caught out. At the moment, however, we need to use extra vigilance every day as there are far more dangerous attempts to con us than mere pranks. The book goes on to say:
"Don't ignore red flags... Don't put your head in the sand for fear of what you'll discover. Ask questions, scrutinize, and voice your doubts. Challenge what feels wrong with the picture being presented."
There's nothing wrong with checking facts, asking for verification or voicing your doubts. No one wants to look like a fool on April 1st. Let's all make extra efforts to be wise on other days of the year too.
