Divination: Ehwaz as a Rune for the World

I've done a divination for the world using The Runes of Yggdrasil. They are cards showing traditional runic symbols but also original artwork by Freya Aswynn. I revealed Ehwaz, which represents the horse. The image shows Odin's steed Sleipnir travelling between worlds via the rainbow bridge.

Horses were once essential for travel, so this card can represent moving forwards in life or a spiritual or shamanic journey. Both Freya Aswynn and Laura Daligan in her book A Guide to Reading the Runes write that Ehwaz is also about the importance of relationships. It looks a bit like two horses facing each other. This can mean having a head-to-head with a business associate, family member or lover. It's important to communicate and try to bring peace if there's been a disagreement.

In a more spiritual sense, it's important to spend time in prayer, meditation or communication with the deities we honour. We need to find inner harmony in order to move on too.
