A question about courses

I've been sent an email by someone looking for courses in the London area starting in the New Year on witchcraft, meditation or tarot.

To be honest, I haven't found that many course being advertised at the moment, but here are a couple of things I could recommend.

Tarot

Treadwells bookshop, in central London, is running Learning the Tarot: Foundation Course for Beginners, starting on 25 January. The tutor is Sue Merlyn Farebrother, who has 30 years experience, and the intensive class offers a solid grounding in classic tarot.

The course runs for eight Tuesday evenings from 7pm to 9.30pm. The price is £160, with an £80 deposit and the balance due on first night. For more details, call 020 7240 8906 or email info@treadwells-london.com.

Witchcraft

Kensington and Chelsea College is running part two of a year-long evening class course in Mythology, Folklore and Witchcraft.

Part one, a 10-week introductory course, started in September, but part two begins on January 20 and those with a little prior knowledge might be able to sign up for it even if they didn't do part one. This term's course covers gods and goddesses and the history of witchcraft. Level three begins in April and leads to a certificate.

The course costs £96 and is held at Holland Park Centre, Kensington and Chelsea College, Airlie Gardens, Campden Hill Road, Kensington and Chelsea, London W8 7AF. To find out more or to enrol, visit the college's website at http://www.kcc.ac.uk/

If you know of any other courses on magic, meditation, witchcraft or tarot running in London in the near future, please leave a comment or email me at badwitch1234@gmail.com
