This autumn's big pagan events

There are some fantastic pagan workshops, conferences, festivals and parties taking place in and near London this autumn, but you will need to book your tickets early to avoid disappointment. Here are the details:

Saturday, 10 September: Aphrodite's Healing. One-day workshop at the Wellington Hotel in conjunction with Alternatives. This is being run by Jane Meredith, author of Aphrodite's Magic. Sunday, 11 September: Demeter and Persephone - The Mother-Daughter Story. One-day workshop by Jane Meredith, author of Aphrodite's Magic, at Treadwell's bookshop, Store St, London. Time: 10am-5pm. Saturday; 1 October; Hellfire Club Party. The Hellfire Club is having a day-long party in West Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. The event starts at 2pm onwards and includes a tour of the Hellfire Caves, talks, food and an evening party. Saturday 8 October, Masque Ball of Opheus - PF 40th Anniversary Masked Ball. This evening event takes place after the PF 40th Anniversary Conference on the same day (see below). Time: 7pm- 1am. Venue: Archangel, near High Street Kensington, London. Cost £5 for People with conference tickets, party-only tickets are £10. Saturday; 8 October and Sunday, 9 October; The Pagan Federation's 40th anniversary celebration. A full day and evening of music, dance, art, lectures, workshops, exhibitions and discussions to celebrate the creative richness of contemporary Paganism on the Saturday followed by a free family-friendly gathering on the Sunday. Saturday 12 November; Witchfest International. Large pagan and witchcraft convention organised by The Children of Artemis. Venue: Fairfield Halls, Croydon, Surrey.
