Valentine's Day Is Also World Sound Healing Day

We all know that February 14 is Valentine's Day - the worldwide celebration of love. However, today is apparently also World Sound Healing Day.

The idea is that at 12 noon on February 14 everyone who wants to take part spends 5 minutes making an "Ah" sound and sending love and healing out into the world.  You can do this at noon in your own local time, or if you are at work and think your colleagues might consider you  a bit strange you can do it whenever is convenient.

World Healing Day was started in 2002 by Jonathan Goldman of www.healingsounds.com with the intention that it would be a way of helping save the planet and raise consciousness. Also, if you like free things, there is a free 10-minute sound meditation, created by Jonathan Goldman that you can download here.

The sound meditation is intended as a training for the 5-minute "Ah", but I guess you could use it any time you liked. It seemed rather pleasant to me when I tried it.
