Pagan Eye: Full English Breakfast or American Supper?

"Look like I got lucky this evening. Two double yolkers with bacon, sausage and buttered toast!" So said James C Wallace II, when he emailed me this photo of his supper.

Author and photographer James lives in the US, but for me in the UK, a fry-up of eggs, sausage and bacon with toast is a full English breakfast. Still, it looks like a great meal at any time of the day and is making me hungry as I look at it!

It is generally considered lucky to find a double-yolk egg - particularly at around the time of the Spring Equinox and Easter. Finding a pair of them must be a particularly good omen.

My Pagan Eye posts show photos that I find interesting - seasonal images, pagan sites, events, or just pretty pictures. If you want to send me a photo for a Pagan Eye post, please email it to badwitch1234@gmail.com Let me know what the photo shows and whether you want your name mentioned or not. For copyright reasons, the photo must be one you have taken yourself.
