Nooooo! That is so sad :( I have an oak tree in my garden that we planted at the Millennium and we've had acorns off it since and we are growing another baby from last year. Something has to be done to protect our beautiful beautiful trees!
I absolutely agree - I'm thinking of signing up for one of those groups of volunteers who are trained to inspect trees in their local area.
