Pagan Events over Yule, Midwinter and Christmas
Thursday 19 December; PFL Yuletide Blot facilitated by the Kith of Yggdrasil. Venue: Conway Hall, Red Lion Square, Holborn London. Time: 7.30pm for 8pm start. Ritual ends around 9pm followed by feasting until 10pm. Entrance: £6/£5 PF members. Please bring seasonal food and drinks to share at feast after ritual. Saturday 21 December: Druidic ceremony to celebrate the Winter Solstice (Alban Arthan) at Avebury Stone Circle, Wiltshire. Meet at the Red Lion pub from noon for a ceremony at 1.30pm. Free event, all welcome, offerings of song, poetry, bread and mead are welcome. Overnight camping is available in the overflow carpark on the nights of Friday 20 and Saturday 21 December.

Sunday 22 December; Winter Solstice Open Ritual at Primrose Hill under the Aegis of the Loose Association of Druids. Gather in the Hawthorne Grove on Primrose Hill, London, between 12.30pm and 12.45pm in order to prepare the site ready for a prompt 1pm start. Sunday 22 December; Winter Solstice Open Ritual at the Long Man of Wilmington in East Sussex. Meet between 1.30pm and 2pm near the Long Man car park. Free event.
Monday 23 December; Crossbones Vigil to honour The Goose and the outcast dead of Cross Bones Graveyard. Bring a flower, a ribbon, a totem or memento to tie to the shrine. Gather from 6.45pm for a 7pm start in Redcross Way outside the Memorial Gates, SE1 1TA, opposite the Boot and Flogger pub, just north of the junction with Union Street.
