Travel Around the World in Six Folktales

Fancy a virtual trip around the world in folktales? Ebookers has a new interactive site that explores six international stories. It includes original retellings and some delightful illustrations as well as cultural background and local information.

The stories are: Anasi and the Pot of Wisdom from Ghana, Jami the Little Dragon from Slovenia, Where Love Is Lost, Blossom is Grown from the Andes, The Lake of the Returned Sword from Vietnam, John Henry: the Steel-Driving Man from West Virginia and The Three Sisters from Australia.

The pictures above and to the right are just two of the images from the site. You can read the tales and see more via this link: http://www.ebookers.com/travel-blog/folklore/
