Magic School: Introduction to Wicca & Witchcraft

Shamanic Spirit, in Croydon, is running a one-day workshop called Introduction to Wicca and Witchcraft on Sunday, 24 May, repeated on Sunday 23 August. The course is led by Alison Spirit Weaver. Her description of the course on the Shamanic Spirit website:

"We will introduce you to the history and mythology and help you discover some of the more practical aspects of this mystery tradition. Join us on this journey through paganism, looking at the practice of magick, spellcraft, ritual, The Gods/Goddesses, the wheel of the year and much more.

"At the end of our afternoon together there will be a small sojourn into the fields next to us to meditate with Mother Earth and experience the power of the Horned God before returning and participating in a ritual celebration with feasting to celebrate the day."
