Aren't these tiny little candle holders wonderful? They are just the right size for the kind of candles you put on a birthday cake to make a wish.
While I rarely object to eating cake and making a wish even if it is not my birthday, I've never before owned any proper metal candlesticks that were small enough to put the tiny candles in if I didn't have a suitable cake.
They seem to be made of brass and I found them in a charity shop for £1.99. I photographed them in front of a normal sized lantern just to show how small they are - perfect for candle magic if you don't want to wait more than 10 minutes or so for it to fully burn down.
