Pagan Eye: The Moon at Dusk at Sovereign Harbour

I took this photo of the full moon visible in the sky at dusk this weekend. I was at Sovereign Harbour, in Sussex, enjoying a little time away at the coast.

One thing this picture shows is that the moon isn't only ever visible at night, although I've met quite a few people who assume that you can't see the moon during daylight hours. The full moon is more visible at night because the rest of the sky appears darker, but its orbital cycle often means that it can be seen faintly above the horizon during the day.

My Pagan Eye posts show photos that I find interesting - seasonal images, pagan sites, events, or just pretty pictures. If you want to send me a photo for a Pagan Eye post, please email it to http://www.blogger.com/badwitch1234@gmail.com Let me know what the photo shows and whether you want your name mentioned or not. For copyright reasons, the photo must be one you have taken yourself.
