Here's a photo of the old British Library Reading Room in the centre of the British Museum. The British Library moved to St Pancras in 1997. For a few years after that the round reading room was used by people reading books from the British Museum's collection, then it was used as exhibition space until 2013. The area was then entirely closed to the public until earlier this year.
This is the first time since then that I've visited the iconic space, but I visited the British Museum yesterday and was delighted to see it and take a few photos. The old British Library Reading Room is in the centre of the Great Court at the British Museum, Great Russell St, London WC1B 3DG. Entry is free.
My Pagan Eye posts show photos that I find interesting - seasonal images, pagan sites, events, or just pretty pictures. If you want to send me a photo for a Pagan Eye post, please email it to badwitch1234@gmail.com Let me know what the photo shows and whether you want your name mentioned or not. For copyright reasons, the photo must be one you've taken yourself.
