I saw this jigsaw puzzle and thought the picture looked like a magical witch's house - even a bit like the one in the movie Practical Magic - so I had to have it.
There's something a bit weird about the garden too. The trees have a mixture of spring blossom and golden autum leaves, the flowers vary from spring bluebells to summer blooms. Then the lighting is strange. The windows are lit as though it's night or evening, but the sky above is blue and the sun is casting late afternoon shadows. I found it most intriguing.
