Event: Lecture on Santa Muerte on Friday



The Folklore Society is hosting a lecture called Devoted to Death: the New Cult of Santa Muerte in the U.S. and Mexico, by R. Andrew Chesnut of Virginia Commonwealth University, this Friday.

The event is on Friday 19 July, starting at 5.30p.m. at The Warburg Institute, Woburn Square, London WC1H 0AB. This is a public lecture, so you don't need to be a Folklore Society member to come and listen. It is also free of charge and will be followed by drinks in the Institute's common room.
