I rushed downstairs to open the door when the postman rang the bell this morning. I'd been eagerly awaiting a lovely parcel from Wicca Moon ever since I got a message from the lovely people there that one was on its way to me.
I tore the paper off too, because couldn't wait to see what was inside. It was what I was hoping for - a Beltane Box full of exciting things.
Wicca Moon's Wheel of the Year ritual kits are gorgeous. Each one is a box of goodies that any witch would love, including items for the altar and a ritual especially written for the season. This one celebrates Beltane, the pagan festival that celebrates joy, abundance and union of the God and Goddess at the start of May.
As well as original words to use for a Beltane rite, it has handmade soap; incense and charcoal; ritual oil; two beeswax candles; a wand; a long, sparkly altar cloth and a clay figurine representing the Horned God to complement the Goddess figurine that came in the Ostara ritual kit.
This is the third Wicca Moon Wheel of the Year box I've had and I can honestly say they are a Goddess-send for busy solitary witches who lack the time to write and put together a ritual from scratch themselves. The earlier ones were the Imbolc ritual kit, which I used in February, and the Ostara one, in March. I'm really looking forward to using this one for my Beltane rite.

I'm disappointed with myself that I totally forgot to order a Beltane box this year. It's too late now. Will never arrive in time, but I do have all colors of candles, many varieties of essential oils, and crystals so this year I will be putting together my own. I firmly believe that everything happens for a reason. Finances are tight this year so perhaps that is why I forgot, to save me from spending money I didn't have.
