Following the unveiling of a Blue Plaque for Doreen Valiente, The Centre for Pagan Studies and the Doreen Valiente Foundation are planning to get a Blue Plaque for Gerald Gardner put up on the house he lived in near Christchurch, Dorset. The unveiling is set to take place on Friday 13, June 2014, which would have been Gerald's 130th birthday. However, the organisation needs to raise money before the plans can go ahead.
The Doreen Valiente Foundation says on its website: "We have to raise funds for each blue plaque, which costs over £1,200 just to manufacture and install."
