Here's a poem for the autumn equinox as well as a photo of the shells I saw that inspired it.
I saw two shells,
one dark, one light,
their curving lines
a pleasing symmetry.I paused a moment,
put them in my coat,
as summer turned
to autumn and the
tide gently ebbed.

One of my resolutions for 2025 was to write a poem for each of the eight festivals in the Pagan Wheel of the Year, and this is the 6th. You can find links to some others under "previous related posts" below.
You can find other seasonal ideas in my book Pagan Portals - Rounding the Wheel of the Year, published by Moon Books along with my other titles.
