One of the things I particularly like about it is that it's a cooperative board game, so you work together with your fellow heroes rather than trying to win against them. The basic idea is that the heroes travel around the town to spooky locations including the laboratory, the graveyard, the mansion and the abbey. They collect items that will be useful, such as the burning torch or the stake, and find people including Renfield and Lucy to escort to safety. In between the players' turns, the monsters move and act according to cards turned over. A terror track goes up if they successfully attack, and you lose if it goes up too far. Each monster is defeated in different ways, which gives the game variety.
I do realise this post isn't particularly witchy, but I do know many of my fellow witches enjoy games with spooky or supernatural themes. This is one I thoroughly recommend. I bought my copy in a branch of Waterstones, using my discount card. You can also view Horrified at Amazon.
